Ah i see, they dont tell you them things. I have a program called core temp now which is meant to be a more accurate reading. Its meant to read from the hottest part of the cpu. its around 40c a core idle, would u say thats too high or is it ok for standerd cooling. Just spent alot of money on this ...

Not sure how good that speed fan is, downloading some programs and updates which should help.

I put more compound on the on the cpu and made sure the fan is on properly which has lowerd things a bit.

But i've heard the cpu can run in the mid 20's on standerd cooling.

I have just been reading that the chipset i am running is bad at reading temps so maybe why mine is a little high.

hey, yellow what temp does your cpu and what program u use to monitor temp. I got same cpu as u when i checked my cpu temp from motherboard it said over 60 c seems a little high to me, unless its for both cores....
