octet-stream

i downloaded the enemy territory- quake wars, but it's in octet-stream, so if anyone knows how to use/open it, pls help

Down loaded from where? Is it the demo version?
I'm not sure but i thought you had to register to play on-line when you get the full game....as far as i know octet-stream is just an 8 bit stream...

it's a demo and it was file format unknown to windows... it was just mentioned that it's in octet stream...
but it's ok now, since i found it in normal shape

I can't ....
my pc spec is just below the minimum.
I am saving for a new all singing one that will be out of date in 6 months or so....wish me luck!
