stupid mic

help my mic keeps muteing itself on windows xp.
go onto ts talk for about 20 secs pause goto talk again and its muted itself, then have to f**k about going to desktop to unmute it. realy anoying me now anyone help?

doesent matter reinstalled my sound card drivers and it works.DOH!

As for me I got headphones with mic from a friend.
TS sound now working perfectly, I'm ready for coming games
