Cant Connect Properly

Hi all,
My nick is shroom and I used to play on this server about 8-9 months ago, then started preparing for my M.Sc. exams and quit playing. During this period my game drive was accidently deleted also.
Now again since I am free, I reinstalled q3 and nemesis, but whenever I try to connect the server, it appears to be hang though I can see the players lpaying there is a constant "Connection Interrupted" message on display and I cant do anything.
The ping here I get is 147. I have ADSL 1MB connection. I can play on all other servers even on USA servers, but I wonder why I cant get a stable connection to V Freeze server.
I think many players may know me by my nick that I would play here.
Any help please?
yes the server says that you must set your snaps and maxpackets, I already did that.

MMMMhhh... did u change some settings in ur default cfg file?
Where are u from? So You have no Nemesis error or something?

Hello Shroom m8.

Hmm looks like a problem with outgoing packets.

1.Be sure you have quake3.exe allowed in your firewall exceptions
2. Try to delete all *.cfg files, then connect (shity resolution, no settings but this will make you sure you have no wrong settings)
3. Try to delete all custom pk3 files. In baseq folder leave pak0, pak1, pak2, zzz-nemesis-client-2-0-14_529 and zzz-nemesis-models only. Then delete all folders in quake3. Leave baseq folder only (you will with this delete all downloaded mods packs like noghost, F4A, turrets etc)
4. If all previouse steps failed, delete whole q3, go to www.quakelife.com and play there
