CLAN *V* Christmas cup 2009

Soz after having a chat with Pj(it was basically a monologue), we decided(my idea, but it never hurts to be nice with high ranking administrators) that it would be a very nice idea to run a 1vs1 tournament in V2.

The reason for choosing v2 is simple. Its always empty, V1 would no be interrupted, and it is a good opportunity for those members and friends of the clan and the server to FINALLY test the 1.32 and see first hand its advantages.

For those of you that want to participate and have not yet installed 1.32, be sure that if you ask help you shall receive it.


But please do not ask as to feed you, you can feed your self, and by that i mean at least have a look at yellows posts at how to install 1.32 and the needed mode. I will later add the links to yellow's posts.

The rules have not been set yet, first we have to see how many of you are actually willing to participate. Any suggestions on how to run this S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R event are more than welcome.

So if you wish to participate to this spectacular event, add your name to this post.

As it turns out the event is gonna be a success.

This leaves me no option but to comment that either you all chicken KoKoKoKoKo, or that you are lazy to install 1.32 and that whenever your pc has problems you call a technician, or that you cheat and your cheats do not work at 1.32.

if not i suggest cpma/vq3 mod. why? it is the most up to date mod, without any bugs like old osp has.

Can someone send me this cheat of yours? I honestly have never used one and i am curious to see how this wall hack works.

Ok Zei here is the wallhack.

Firstly unpack the zip file into your baseq3 directory.
Then try to boot the game and see if it works. If not open the pk3 file with text editor and change "renderdevice" to your actual vga card. Use only a model name. For ati use "A" before the model, for nvdia use "N". Then follow the instructions in the file. it does works for 99.9% machines.

10 Minutes games, Map will be decided by the weakest players. Ranking according to most frags. Best 2 from each Group continues.So thats 60 minutes for all the games of the group , quick and easy.

After that crossover games semi finals. Semi finals will be 15 minutes games 2 map games each player decides which map he prefers. Accumulated frags from both games will make the winner from each semi final. So thats 1 hour for all 4 games, again quick and easy.

Final 15 minutes games same as semi finals.

I have ideas on how to alter the rules if needed, but lets wait until next friday to see if someone else wants to participate or if Paul will not participate after all. In any case time needed is gonna be short guys. 2 days, 1 to 1.5 hours each day. So no more than 3 hours in total.

second thing- yes, cpma if You want to play normal tournament on vq3 why cpma? cause old osp is fkn OLD and cpma is bein updated frequently.
and i dont mean fuken challenge pro mode physics ! i mean vq3 on cpma mod- like all tourneys are bein played.

and bout rules- its ok for me - but why da fook im bein compared with Miko?! cmon set me in c group at least i havent been playin 1.32 duels for over a year so please gimme some chances
