Hey guys,

I want to inform you that in close future i will change the location for V2.
After long statistics and sleepless nights i decided to choose Frankfurt in Germany. 16 or 18 slots not sure yet. This city is the center of locations most players playing on V1 so i think its the best choice.
Later i will post possible IP so you can check your ping there and help me to decide if i should take it.
When the time will come and the server will be online, i will try to boot 1.16 for a while so you can try if the gameplay is better, maybe it will also solve some lag issues ppl are reporting these days.
www.lowpings.net is my current favorite. So i will wait until the ping result is complete.
If you got any other ideas let me know.

ok so the guys from lowpings were so cool and created a temporaly server for me running 1.32.
So please if could everyone post the ping and the city from where are you connecting.
The server will be online for couple days so please ASAP

you can for ping use windows command line

press start > run > type "cmd" and hit enter. When the black windows appers type "ping 85.190.14.162"

or the simplest way > put this ip and port to hlsw 85.190.14.162:27960

looks like all of you have better ping as on V1 so far.
its pure baseq 1.32, no mod running there.
My ping is 23 there so thats around 9ms better as on V1.

I hope that more players will respond. At least 1 from UK coz ppl from this location will get worst ping for sure. But i still think this location is the best.

omg.... the new server is totaly crappy.

They are running WINDOWS ( ) version of q3 with some web browser interface to manage the server. Not even the commands are very limited but they even do not works....I can change cfg file but the server still boot with some shitty own cfg with 8 players slots instead of 16. I can not change the version of q3, i can do nothing....
Looks like i have just throwed 13 euro out of window.
